An Interrelationship between Adolescent Sex-Offender and Their Sexual Attitudes







Abstract
The present study was intended to discriminate the variables of sexual attitude between student and adolescent sexual offenders, and to provide basic data for precaution against sexual offense.
Twenty-one hundred and ninety seven subjects served for this study were comprised of 1440 adolescent students from junior and senior high school and 757 delinquent adolescent from juvenile correctional institutions.
Data were collected through questionnaire survey, processed by CDC-174 computer and examined by chi-square test and Eta analysis. Results of the study were as follows.
1) In comparison with other delinquent and student adolescent, adolescent sex-offenders tend to have much more curiosity on sexual articles, and to learn the sex information from non-human materials, and to have sole date privately.
2) Sexual offenders and other delinquent adolescent tend to imitate sexual behavior and/or urge after watching television more frequent than student adolescent.
3) Adolescent sex-offenders and other delinquents have much more immature sexuality than student adolescent and also want to be thought the simple sex education such as anatomically sex-differences etc.
